Poor customer service in India
A lack of consumer rights protection has led brands to dilute their warranty coverage to reduce service costs. This practice compromises the customer experience and is often paired with lower build quality, leading to a higher rate of necessary repairs. Brands that were considered reliable for claiming warranty like Apple and Samsung now frequently charge customers stating damage caused by customer is not covered under warranty. The less said about the automobile industry the better. In my case with Samsung Galaxy Watch 7. They refused to honour warranty claiming water damage.
